A legacy built together
Nathan and Patricia Madison were both graduates of two-year institutions who turned education into lives of purpose.
Nathan built his career in the line worker trade. Patricia built hers in business. Together, they modeled authenticity, integrity, perseverance, and service—values this scholarship seeks to recognize in every recipient.
Their story reminds us that meaningful work can begin in many places, that education can meet us at any stage, and that a life of service leaves roots strong enough for others to grow.

How it works
The $1,000 award is paid directly to the recipient’s institution in two $500 semester installments.

Your story, in your own voice
When applications open, students will apply directly through this website. There will be no written essay. Instead, applicants will submit a 60–90 second video explaining why they would represent the scholarship well, along with proof of current enrollment.
